My name is Ms. Diana Perales and I teach Middle School Social Studies and Religion. I earned my B.A. Degree from California State University, Dominguez Hills and have been teaching for 12 years.
I became a teacher to empower others with tools to succeed. My favorite aspect of teaching is when a student’s face lights up and he/she says. ”Now, I get it!”
When I am in not in the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, and listening to different types of music.

Keeping in Touch with Teachers
Parents, it is very important to stay in contact with teachers, if your contact information changes please let me know as soon as possible. I frequently use the Remind App messages will show on your phones as a regular text. I will also write notes in student planner. Student planner should be checked and signed weekly. If you see any blanks ask your child or contact teacher as soon as possible. There should be no blank areas left in planners.

Padres, es muy importante mantenerse en contacto con los profesores, si su información de contacto a cambiado por favor hágamelo saber tan pronto como sea posible. Suelo utilizar los mensajes de la aplicación Remind se mostrará en su teléfono como un texto normal. También voy a escribir notas en el planificador de estudios. El Planificador de estudios debe ser revisado y firmado cada semana. Si hay espacios en blanco pregunte a su niño o contacte al profesor tan pronto como sea posible. No debe haber zonas en blanco en el planificador.
