St. Odilia School is excited once again to partner with the USC Viterbi School of Engineering “Adopt a School, Adopt a Teacher Program”  through VAST and USC’s STEM Outreach Program.  St. Odilia was selected to participate with Sheridan and Murchison Elementary Schools to implement robotics and coding in our primary grades.  Under the direction of Dr. Katie Mills, teachers are learning to have fun building and coding robots!  The first BOTS workshop was held at St. Odilia last month, and all three schools really enjoyed the hands-on robotics experience.  Thanks again to Dr. Mills, our teachers, and The Specialty Family Foundation for helping to build “digital equity” in our community as our students prepare for successful future careers.
