St. Odilia School Makes Christmas Brighter for the Needy

January 6, 2018 by Vice Principal/DMD

On the morning of December 16th, for the second consecutive year, St. Odilia parents, students, teachers, and Wells Fargo employees helped distribute over 500 food baskets to the needy in our community.  Partnering with “Navidad En El Barrio”, a non-profit organization, has provided Christmas meals to low income areas for more than twenty years.  With planning collaboration of NEEB, Wells Fargo Bank, and St. Odilia’s PTO members, our distribution site has been extremly successful over the past two years!IMG_0688IMG_0698 (1)IMG_0648  Volunteers and sponsors from the school gathered for two days packaging enough food to last a family two days.  The joy of Christmas begins with charity, and it continues with peace and service to all.  Amen
